Many modules for Drupal are made available at http://drupal.org/project/Modules. The following listing includes modules found at this link, as well as modules which have been developed by EDUCAUSE specifically for CONNECT. Although our modules are not publically available at this time, we do hope to give back to the Drupal community at some point. - aggregator - Aggregates syndicated content (RSS, RDF, and Atom feeds).
- ajaxit - Adds AJAX functionality to our in-house modules, plus provides an AJAX proxy.
- autocompleter - A CCK widget which expands upon the autocompleter that comes with Drupal. Requires AJAXit and CCK.
- autocompleter_ajax - Sample helper module for the Autocompleter CCK widget.
- autologout - Adds automated timed logout
- bhawk - Brings BrowserHawk functionality into Drupal.
- block - Controls the boxes that are displayed around the main content.
- blog - Enables keeping easily and regularly updated user web pages or blogs.
- blogapi - Allows users to post content using applications that support XML-RPC blog APIs.
- colophon - An in-house colophon module.
- comment - Allows users to comment on and discuss published content.
- commentrss - Provides RSS feeds for comments
- community_tags - Allows users to 'tag' other users' content. Weighted tag lists or 'tag clouds' are generated for each piece of content to show the popularity of tags.
- connect - Base functionality for EDUCAUSE CONNECT.
- contact - Enables the use of both personal and site-wide contact forms.
- content - Allows administrators to define new content types.
- content_taxonomy - Defines a field type for taxonomy terms
- content_taxonomy_autocomplete - Defines a autocomplete widget type for content_taxonomy
- content_taxonomy_options - Defines a option widget type for content_taxonomy for selects, radios/checkboxes
- content_taxonomy_views - Views support for content taxonomy fields
- copyedit - Provides links to edit the copy for certain parts of CONNECT.
- date - Defines a date/time field type.
- date_api - Makes the date api available to other modules.
- db_maintenance - Executes an OPTIMIZE TABLE query on MyISAM, InnoDB, or BerkeleyDB database tables.
- diff - Show difference between node revisions.
- ebrowser - Provides the EDUCAUSE Browse page for CONNECT.
- eduauth - Authenticates users against the EDUCAUSE SQLServer. Requires the WWW script.
- educache - Allows the clearing of our additional caches.
- educron - Centralized cron module for EDUCAUSE cronjobs.
- eq - Module for the EQ microsite.
- ereports - An in-house reports module.
- esub - Extends the Subscriptions module to work as needed on CONNECT.
- e_tabs - Revised tab system for CONNECT.
- falter - Allows form elements to be altered in a centralized place without hacking other people's code.
- fckeditor - Enables the usage of FCKeditor (WYSIWYG) instead of plain text fields.
- feedback - Provides one or more site-wide feedback pages.
- fieldgroup - Create field groups for CCK fields.
- filter - Handles the filtering of content in preparation for display.
- flag_content - Allow users to flag nodes, users or comments for the administrator to review.
- gsa_search - Integrates the Google Search Appliance into Drupal.
- hof - Hall of Fame provides publicly-visible summary statistics for a Drupal web site, featuring top contributors and most popular articles.
- httpfix - Prepends an http:// in front of hrefs in node bodies that don't already have one.
- imagefield - Defines an image field type.
- includer - Combines dynamic/included content with a node.
- insert_view - Allows users to embed content lists generated by the Views module into node bodies.
- jquery_interface - An API and central location for modules that use the JQuery Interface library.

- node - Allows content to be submitted to the site and displayed on pages.
- nodereference - Defines a field type for referencing one node from another.
- number - Defines numeric field types.
- optionwidgets - Defines selection, check box and radio button widgets for text and numeric fields.
- pearwiki_filter - Filter which uses Text/Wiki package of PEAR for formatting
- ping - Alerts other sites when your site has been updated.

- profile - Supports configurable user profiles.
- refine_by_taxo - Provides blocks that enable you to refine a taxonomy view. Some features only work when tagadelic is installed.
- rss_filter - Lets users embed RSS using simple tags. Uses SimplePie.
- rss_refresh - Keeps the SimplePie cache of RSS feeds fresh.

Additional Components
In addition to the modules listed above, CONNECT utilizes other Open Source Software that helps drive some of the most important functionality:
SimplePie - CONNECT uses SimplePie to parse RSS feeds, both of our own and off-site. Pages such as our home page and the Open Source term view would not work without SimplePie.
Sparkline - Sparklines are small, line-sized images which represent trending data in a graphical format. All of the trending data on our terms use Sparklines to show their activity since CONNECT first started.
